Oh, How He Loves You!!

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.

Do you ever feel like that song, “Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I think I’ll go eat worms!”? No matter who you are or how old you are, everybody feels like that sometimes. It’s not a good feeling.

The trick is to recognize that feelings are not the same as truth. The enemy would like for you to believe that nobody loves you, but it just isn’t true. There are lots of people who love you, and even if there weren’t—there is still one who loves you so perfectly and so completely it would more than make up for it. The Bible says that God loves you so much he was willing to give his son to die for you. That’s a lot. His love for you will never end because he has “loved you with an everlasting love,” and he has “drawn you with loving-kindness.”

So, something to keep in mind when you’re feeling down and like nobody loves you: God loves you. He says so in his word, and God’s word is truth. You can count on it.
