What and Why Do You Save?

What and Why Do You Save?

Believe in your heart. Say it with your mouth — Jesus is God’s Son; He died, rose for me!

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

What and why do you save? Is it because this is very rare, beautiful, precious, and valuable? Perhaps someone special made this just for you. You most likely want to keep it safe and secure! All of this and so much more is precisely why Jesus gave His life to save us. Unlike ‘what’ you save, we must choose to be saved.

As it reads in God’s Word Romans 10:9, we must believe that Jesus died, God raised Him from the dead! God’s plan to save us is amazing; yet a part of that plan is as easy as our

A, B, C’s

A-admit our sins, our need for a Savior, ask to be saved

B-believe in our hearts that Jesus is this Savior

C-confess (agree with GOD) that Jesus is The LORD and now, your LORD.

Let GOD know you understand that you are a sinner, need and want Jesus. Because you believe He died and was raised from the dead, you are saved! WELCOME to The Family of God! If you prayed to ask Jesus to take full control of your life, let us know.

Pray your own prayer or use this to be saved:

Heavenly Father,

I believe in my heart the words from the Bible that You love me and want me to love You. I know I don’t always do, think, or say the right things; GOD YOU can make right because of Your Son Jesus Who took my sins. So, I say with my mouth that I am sorry for these things, that I believe Jesus died for me. I am so glad to be saved, to be Your child. Thank You! Amen
