Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.  Genesis 9:16 (NIV)

Dear Diary,

Almost two months have passed since Noah’s birthday. God finally let us out of the ark. After we emptied the boat, the first thing Noah did was gather stones to build an altar. Then he offered sacrifices and thanked God for bringing us through the storm.

Noah’s sacrifices and praises pleased God, and He made a promise that He’d never again destroy the whole earth with a flood. He placed a rainbow in the sky to seal the promise. The colors were beautiful.

Now for my bath.
