Refreshing Ourselves

by Meyana

I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.

Jeremiah 31:35 NIV

Everybody has something they don’t like about themselves. But you have to remember God made man in His image. You’re original. You can’t be replaced. You can’t be bought at Wal-Mart, Target, or TJ Maxx.

There’s no one like you. Even if you are a twin, you have different personalities. Sometimes I see that people get confused with twins. But you still are your own person.

Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Be yourself. Siblings don’t feel alike at all normally. One may be hungry, and one may be sleepy, or even already asleep. Everyone has a different personality just like God planned.

Dear God,
Help us not to be judgmental to ourselves. Help us to be ourselves. Amen.
