When we feel worried or anxious, God is always with us, and we never have to face anything alone.A new year can be exciting… but it can also feel a little scary.
New schedules. New classrooms. New friendships. New expectations. Sometimes all those “new” things can make our hearts feel tight inside. We start to worry about what might happen, or whether we’ll be okay.
But here’s the good news: we are never alone.
God promises to be with us in every moment, not just on the good days, but on the hard ones too. When we feel anxious, confused, or unsure, God is close. He listens when we pray. He gives us peace when our thoughts feel loud. And He reminds us that we don’t have to figure everything out on our own.
When worries start to creep in, we can stop, take a deep breath, and remember this truth: God is with me right now. That truth can calm our hearts and help us move forward with courage.

Dylan Arms is a worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist from Greer, SC. Since 2013, he has served on staff at Springwell Church, leading worship and overseeing production with over a decade of ministry experience. He discovered his passion for helping the next generation worship Jesus while leading kids in worship for several summers at various camps and churches. His musical journey has also taken him beyond the church walls to national platforms such as American Idol and The Voice.
A Note from the Author: I’ve had a heart for creating music that helps kids and families connect with God for years, and this project has become even more personal since my wife and I welcomed our first child. Made to Worship was born out of a desire to bring together scripture, reflection, and song in a way that equips parents and ministry leaders to nurture worship and Christ-centered habits in kids. My hope is that this resource encourages families to worship together and helps kids see that worship isn’t just for church, but for everyday life. At the heart of it all, we were made to worship, and when we live that out, we step into the fullness of who God created us to be.
