Make a Difference Day

Make a Difference Day

By Karen H Whiting

October 26 is Make A Difference Day. This is a great opportunity to make good choices. Consider what to be when you grow up that can make a difference. Think of ways you can make your home, community, and world a better place.

Jesus made a difference. He was born in poverty, in a time with no cars or electricity. He made more of a difference than all leaders and kings ever born. Check out what Dr. James Allan Francis wrote about Jesus at this website:http://www.anointedlinks.com/one_solitary_life_original.html

The Apostle Paul made a difference. At one time he had hated Christians and had them killed changed his life and preached to many people.  He is said to be the greatest missionary who ever lived. He started many churches and God inspired him to write much of the New Testament.

Start with a smile each day to make a small difference. And add a lasting smile with these ideas:
Show love by acts of kindness.

Make time to pray daily for each person you love

Imagine what you can do to help someone. Then do it.

Listen to other people

Encourage people. Cheer friends when they try hard.
