How God Guides You! — The Secret of the Flying Geese

How God Guides You... Sofia and her bunny, Clover, walked along the edge of the field, crunching through fallen leaves. Overhead, a V-shaped flock of geese called out, “HONK! HONK! HONK!”

“Look at them, Clover,” Sofia whispered. “They’re flying south for the winter. Isn’t it amazing how they know exactly where to go?”

Clover twitched his nose and snuggled closer to her side.

“The Bible tells us, ‘The Lord will always lead you’ (Isaiah 58:11),” Sofia said. “Just like the geese follow the path God gave them, He guides us, too. Even when we don’t know which way to go, God shows us the way—when we pray, read His Word, and make choices that please Him.”

The geese rose higher into the bright sky. “See how they stick together?” Sofia pointed. “They fly in a team, helping one another. God wants us to walk with Him and with friends and family who love Him, so we don’t have to travel alone.”

Clover hopped and nudged Sofia’s hand, making her giggle. “Even when life feels confusing,” she said, “we can trust that God knows the best path for us. He leads us step by step—just like those geese know their way in the sky.”

Sofia looked up and smiled. “I wonder where You’ll lead them, Lord. Thank You for showing me the right way, for helping me make good choices, and for reminding me that I’m never alone. Amen.”

Family Activity:
🕊️ V-Formation Walk – Line up as a family in a V-shape, just like geese. Walk together slowly, with one person leading. Switch leaders and talk about how God leads us—and how sometimes He asks us to follow others who are following Him.
