Honor your Father and Mother

✝️”Honor your Father and Mother so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you“. Exodus 20:12
✝️“Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you“. Deuteronomy 5:16
✝️“‘Each of you must respect your mother and father”. Leviticus 19:3
🎉You and your family thoroughly enjoyed your Mother Day celebrations to GOD for mothers, grandmas, great-grands, aunts, and others who love and enrich us, right?
Next are Dads, Grands and Great-grandpas! Think of ways to keep the party going all month, all year long! God’s Word is an excellent place to begin. We are commanded to honor our parents as a treasured gift from GOD (there is even a gift for us in doing so)!
❤️One of the best gifts🎁 is your presence! Your time and attention speak louder than the flowers, dinners, grills, candy, and cash! Face-to-face, walks, bike rides, drives, chores, and virtual visits will long be remembered for sure. Which do you think your family member or special person might enjoy most? Ask!
🙌🏾Whatever you are planning, do it with love, honor, and respect! Write ✍🏾, pray, say it…show your appreciation and honor then…continue doing so every day!
Prayer:
🙏🏾Dear LORD, thank You for creating mothers, fathers, grands, and others who love like You! They care and provide for, and protect us in so many ways! They laugh, play, and cry with us! GOD, we have not seen You yet; however, seeing our loving mothers gives us a picture of YOU!
Forgive me for the times I have neglected to honor her/them. I promise to respect, help, be present, love, enjoy, treasure, and pray for her/them. In Jesus’ name. amen.
