  You will need: A.      M&Ms or Skittles B.      Cup of water The small letters on M&Ms and on Skittles are actually made with an edible ink and are a little different than the hard sugar coating on the outside. Take a small, clear cup and pour water in it until you have a couple of inches of water in the cup. Place your M&M or Skittle in the water and watch the outside coating disappear. by Beth Godwin Supplies: Blank canvas Old crayons Glue Newspaper or scrap paper Hair dryer An adult helper (Optional) First, draw a picture with black crayon, marker or paint. Place the newspaper down on the table or floor to contain your mess. Then, pick out the crayons you like and peel off their paper. If the canvas is smaller, break the crayons into halves or thirds. Next, glue the crayon pieces to the top of your canvas. (Hint: If you are using multiple colors, try to group similar colors together to prevent them from mixing. Weave a Paper Basket!

Supplies: Two pieces of construction paper 17 in. by 12 in. Scissors Tape First, take a piece of paper and fold it in half. Open it up, and fold the sides in to meet the center crease. Fold the edges to the center again. Take your scissors and cut out the strips. You should have eight strips per piece of paper. Place four strips down and weave four more strips across them. Once the bottom is ready, fold the loose ends across the bottom to form the sides of the basket. Then, take two strips, tape them together and weave them around the sides.
