Are You A Bully?

By Bea Edwards

The eyes of the Lord are in every place,

keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Proverbs 15:3 NKJV

Have you ever been bullied? Perhaps someone told a story about you that was false. Maybe you have been called names that hurt your feelings. If asked, most people will say they have been bullied. It hurts and often causes feelings of insecurity that can be difficult to overcome.

But, what if YOU are the bully? Do you tell false stories behind your classmates’ backs? Do you call them names in the halls of the school or on the bus? If you are the bully, you probably don’t want your parents, your Sunday school teacher, or your pastor to know, do you?

Did you know that there is one who sees everything? There is nothing that can be hidden from Him. There are no secrets you can keep that He does not know about. He sees the good and the bad in all of us. But, here’s the really good news: He loves us anyway!

If you have been a bully, you don’t have to remain a bully. Tell God that you are aware of your problem and ask him to help you stop. He will help you become a better person if you only ask.
