ANGEL SNOW CAKE
“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good
news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been
born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
(Luke 2:10) (NIV)
IN THE STALL
We know of cattle
in the stall.
But did more creatures
come to call
on heaven’s gift
so newly born
in manger’s loft
that holy morn?
Did stray dogs bark
or cats glide by
as angel’s glow
lit up the sky?
When shepherds came
where cattle stay
that Christmas morn
as Jesus lay
in manger’s bed
inside the stall—
when hope was born
for one and all.
