Abilities!.. Possibilities!… Rock Badgers… Too?

Abilities!.. Possibilities!… Rock Badgers… Too?

God makes everything with His own special touch—POW! Every animal, bug, person, and star is stamped “Made by God.” That includes you!

God made each of us with some amazing gifts. Maybe you’re good at singing, building, helping, or drawing. But guess what? God also gives us things we can’t do easily. Those things help us remember to ask Him for help. They help us slow down, think hard, and come up with fun new ways to solve problems.

The Bible says something cool about a little animal called the coney (or rock badger). It’s not fast or strong, but it’s smart. It hides in the rocks to stay safe. That’s a wise choice!

God made the coney to live that way. In the same way, God made us to live safely with Jesus. Jesus is strong like a rock, and when we stick close to Him, we are safe too.

Want to know more about the coney? It’s a small animal with no claws or sharp teeth. It can’t run fast. But it finds a clever place to hide and stay safe. That’s not weakness—it’s smart!

So remember: even the things you can’t do are part of God’s plan. They help you grow, learn, and stay close to Jesus—your Rock!

Psalm 104:18 The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the coneys.

Four things on earth are small,
yet they are exceedingly wise:
the ants are a people without strength,
yet they provide their food in the summer;
the badgers are a people without power,
yet they make their homes in the rocks;
the locusts have no king,
yet all of them march in rank;
the lizard can be grasped in the hand,
yet it is found in kings’ palaces.
(Proverbs 30:24-28)
